About Nathan
I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Maryland Psychology Department. As the name suggests, my research interests include:
- Close relationships between parents/children, friends, and romantic partners,
- Patterns of dreaming and how they influence subsequent behavior,
- How people experience emotions especially those that are related to relationships (e.g., jealousy, love),
- Romantic attraction and sexual behavior, and
- Morals, ethics, norms, and standards for interpersonal behavior. I am a social psychologist by training, with background in developmental and health psychology as well.
I lead mindfulness meditation for students at the University of Maryland. I have a blog on Psychology
